A Toledo Mom’s Guide To Events In July



July 1-5Run White & Blue 5K; Virtual run/walk. Independence Unity Celebration, a day to come together from all over the nation around the common love of running and personal growth.

July 2: Perrysburg Farmers Market; Every Thursday starting  July 2nd  through September 3rd. The hours are 4-7 pm. Check their site for updates.

July 3First Friday Art Walk ft. commUNITY Exhibit; 5-9 pm in the Red Birds Arts District Downtown Sylvania Enjoy art exhibits, shopping, and dinner.  Food trucks, dining, and retail will all be following COVID rules.

July 4: 4th of July aka “Independence Day” in the USA! With almost all local celebrations being canceled, what will you do at home to celebrate?

July 6-9: The Young Artist at CREATE: Art Studio + Workshop; 10:30-1:30 Students will use a variety of materials to create unique works!

July 7: Jr. Gardeners Camp at the Wolf Creek YMCA; 1-4 pm, Discover types of soil, seeds, and plants to build your own mini garden flower crown and garden gnomes. Ages 3-5 Member $30, Program Participants $65

July 9: Virtual Jazz in the Garden by The Toledo Metroparks; performance by the Toledo Jazz Orchestra Quintet. Thursdays 6:30 pm, beginning July 9th through September 10th.  For more information and a full line up of performances, check out their website.

July 13-18: Everything Princess Session at CREATE: Art Studio + Workshop; 10:30-1:30, Be inspired by all things Princess!

July 13-19: Lucas County Fair; It has not yet been announced if this event is canceled, check the website for updates.

July 16: Use the Force Camp at Wolf Creek YMCA; 1-4 pm. Campers will learn how to use the force at this Star Wars themed camp.  Members $30, Program Participants $65

July 17-18: Pizza Palooza at Centennial Terrace: Friday, July 17 5-11 pm, July 18 4-11 pm. 10th annual event, family-friendly event!  Every precaution is being taken to ensure the safety of all attending.

July 18: Reverend Guitar Festival at Stranahan Theater; the show starts at 7 pm, food trucks, and bar on site. Featuring Jack and The Bear, Polka Floyd, and Andrew Ellis. Social distancing will be enforced.

July 19: National Ice Cream Day! What is your favorite flavor?

July 20-23: Artist Adventures at CREATE: Art Studio + Workshop: 10 am-12 pm,Kids will paint, draw, cut, paste, tape, and more their way through this art adventure! 

July 22: Sunset Serenade at Olander Park; every Wednesday evening starting July 22-August 26th, 7-9 pm.  Drive-in style! Lineup coming soon.

July 23: The Peach Tree Truck Tour – Perrysburg; order 7/18 for this tour stop! They will have 25 lb. boxes of fresh Georgia peaches and 10 oz. bags of pecans available.

July 23: Lil Scientist Camp at Wolf Creek YMCA; 1-4 pm. A variety of themed activities through hands-on experiments. Ages 6-12. Members $30, Program Participants $65
