Celebrating The Glass City on 419 Day

Happy 419 day!

Who doesn’t love a day dedicated to celebrating our wonderful city, its community, and of course all of the wonderful businesses that make Northwest, Ohio, truly feel like home.

In years past, locals from our area gathered at surrounding businesses to show support, celebrate 419 Day, and watch as our city lit up. This year looks a bit different, for obvious reasons. However, throughout the past several weeks, our community has pulled together and rallied for all of the local businesses. Witnessing the ways our community has come together, has been breathtaking.

So what about going above and beyond to support Toledo and its businesses on the commemorated 419 Day? Check out some (socially distant-approved) ways below, in which you can shower the Glass City with love!

  1. Head to https://www.facebook.com/419day/ to take a look at all of the places participating in 419 Day.

2. Buy a gift card at your favorite, local spot.

3. Order delivery from your 419 favorites.

4. Shop local, online.

6. Leave a Google or Yelp review on a few of your favorite businesses.

7. Send an email or a note to your favorite business/businesses to let them know you’re thinking of them. Compassion and connection go a long way, especially right now.

Let’s continue to rally together for our city and show them some love! TOGETHER we are #ToledoStrong!
