The bees want me to tell you that it’s sunflower season, y’ all. That means several farms and fields in the area are offering U-Pick sunflowers and other fun festivities. Whether you want to take a day to have some family fun or you want to meet up with a few girlfriends, these Northwest Ohio farms and sunflower fields are perfect for endless frolicking and admiration (during business hours of course).
However, as your friendly neighborhood pollinator enthusiast, I urge you to pick responsibly and teach your littles to respect our pollinator friends and let them do their job. Only take cuttings from bee/butterfly free flowers.
