Happy National Beer Day! After the year we have had, April 7th is an excellent day to head to one of our local breweries and grab a refreshing beer. The Northwest Ohio area has even more breweries than I realized. Before Covid, my husband and I had a fun idea to make a list of all the breweries in the area and try a new one every couple of weeks. This is a great way to get out and explore new areas! Plus, with the weather warming up many of these places offer outdoor seating.
Some of the breweries around here offer a full menu, while others bring in different food trucks throughout the week to provide some yummy meals with their drinks. I have found that following our favorite food trucks and breweries on social media helps us decide where to go. Some of them also offer fun things like trivia nights and live music for entertainment.
If you’re looking for a place to celebrate national beer day, check out the list of our local gems you can support. Website links are attached, and look them up on social media to find out about new events and drinks.
