Treat Yourself, Toledo

0

As incredibly hard-working moms, we deserve a little TLC every once in awhile.  Lucky for us, we don’t have to go far to receive some.  Here are 5 of my favorite places in Toledo and the surrounding areas to treat myself to.

  1. Oza Day Spa – Perrysburg

From the moment you walk into OZA, you feel like you’re meant to be there and nowhere else.  The atmosphere is incredible and the staff are over-the-top amazing.  Come in for an eyebrow wax, a made-for-you facial or treat yourself to a 90-minute massage.  There’s an extensive list of services they offer that will have you leave feeling relaxed and content.  You can book online at http://ozadayspa.com/ or call 419.367.0827. But hurry, book soon because they fill up quick!

  2. Jonathan Khoi Nail Spa – Rossford, Sylvania & Maumee

Tired of looking at boring, plain nails?  This place is a MUST to treat yourself and those nails to.  With multiple locations around the Toledo area, you’ll be able to find something close to home!  Whether you’re looking for a full acrylic set of nails, a relaxing signature pedicure or something else from their unique menu of services, you’ll be sure to be treated like royalty.  Check out their website – https://jknailspa.com/.

  3. True REST Float Spa – Toledo & Perrysburg

This one might seem a little out there at first, but it is guaranteed to calm down your wandering mind.  You enter directly into a pool of salted water that allows you to float with ease – almost like you’re floating on air.  With only the sound of the water & your breathing, you’ll forget all about the troubles you came in with.  Book online at https://www.truerest.com/.

  4. Firefly Toledo – Downtown Toledo

This is one of Toledo’s newest bars to the downtown area.  Now I know what you’re thinking – a bar…relaxing?  Firefly can be described as an upscale experience that specializes in craft cocktails and street food.  Chill out at the bar with one of their perfectly handcrafted cocktails and some small plates of scrumptious food.  Check out their Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/fireflytoledo.

  5. Toledo Museum of Art

The Toledo Museum of Art is one of the best places to leisurely stroll around and take in some gorgeous, one-of-a-kind artwork.  It’s always a great time to go – whether it’s snowing or 90 degrees outside, making it a win-win location.  Even better, the museum has special exhibits throughout the year to take advantage of & enjoy.  Check out their website to keep up with museum news and special events – https://www.toledomuseum.org/.

Hopefully this is a good starting guide to Treat Yourself.  Sometimes it’s so hard to give ourselves a break from the life of being a mom, but it’s such a necessity to keep some sort of balance.  Enjoy, mamas!
