The last time a total eclipse was visible from the U.S was in August of 2017, and the last Ohio one was 1809! The next U.S Total Eclipse will not take place until 2044. Ohio’s next will be 2099!
This truly will be a once in a lifetime for some of us.

Pre Eclipse Celebrations
April 6th: Total Eclipse the Burg, Community Festival.
12-6pm. Activies will take place in downtown Perrysburg between Louisiana, E. Indiana and E. Fifth St.

April 7th: Eclipse of the Towpath- Maumee
This family fun day takes place in the White Street parking lot along the banks of the Maumee River, near the towpath. Visitors can learn about the eclipse, grab eclipse viewing glasses and try free yoga. Vendors, live music and children’s activities will also be available.

Total Brewclipse at Imagination Station
This one is for the adults. April 6th you can take over Imagination Station in Downtown Toledo and celebrate without the kids. 17 BRAND NEW solar eclipse themed beers from breweries across NWO will be featured.

Eclipse Viewing- April 8th
Imagination Station. This is FREE and open to the public. Enjoy food trucks, fun games and science activities and demonstrations to stay entertained.
Toledo Zoo Ampitheatre. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will host a variety of special programming, before holding an eclipse watch party in the amphitheater. Admission is free for Lucas County residents who arrive at the zoo between 10 a.m. and noon. Admission is standard for non-Lucas County residents. Special eclipse viewing glasses will be available while supplies last.
BGSU will hold its free solar eclipse watch party at the Doyt Perry Stadium from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will feature interdisciplinary events and activities. Some BGSU students will serve as eclipse ambassadors for the event.

Franklin Park Mall 1-4pm. Head to the top of the parking garage for live music, food and drinks.
Whitehouse Viewing Party. The village is hosting a viewing party at Whitehouse Village Hall and Blue Creek Metropark. Enjoy food trucks and bring lawn chairs during the event from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Glasses will be available in limited quantities. Parking will be available at Village Hall, along Providence Street and at Blue Creek Metropark.
Blackout on the Bay- Oregon.The city of Oregon will host a solar eclipse viewing party at the Oregon Rec Soccer Fields. The free event is open to the public and solar eclipse viewing glasses will be provided by the city. For more information, click here.
Springfield Twnship. Enjoy daylong festivities and activities at Homecoming Park the day of the eclipse.
