Our community needs our donations more than ever before. This Tuesday, December 1, 2020- let’s give back to our local community. We have compiled a list of places needing our help this holiday season.

Leading Families Home is a 501(c)3 charity based in Toledo, Ohio. We provide resources to support homeless families as they transition to permanent housing.

Since 1947, we have been serving people in need by cooking them meals, offering housing, and most importantly pointing them to the hope found in Jesus Christ. Cherry Street Mission Ministries is committed to delivering solutions that will reverse the cycle of poverty for people in our communities through purposeful discipleship and restoration of hope while releasing God’s greatness.

Since 1998, the City Mission has seen an increase in men, women, and families seeking both emergency shelter and longer term stays in order to establish employment and find permanent housing. The City Mission now provides three meals a day to Residents who are utilizing our Day Center, established in 2010, to seek employment and housing. The Mission also continues to serve the needy of the community though evening meals, seven days a week, and twice weekly food box handouts. Due to the growing need in space, services, and resources, the City Mission launched its Capital Campaign in 2011 to raise much needed funding for expansion.

The Cocoon is a comprehensive domestic and sexual violence agency providing shelter and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, stalking, and adult survivors of childhood abuse.

Fireweed Retreat is a Christ-center retreat for Birthmothers looking to connect with other women who placed and are wanting to find the hope of Jesus in their stories.

Food For Thought’s staff and board of directors are committed to feeding the Toledo area in a thoughtful way.

Here at HOOVES, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in rescuing horses and enlisting them to help service men and women turn Post Traumatic STRESS  into Post Traumatic GROWTH, so they can heal, regain control and return to the life they fought to protect.

Mom’s House strives to break the cycles of poverty and welfare. It is our mission to guide at-risk single parents through the process of achieving educational goals and provide tools and resources needed to become effective parents.

The Toledo Humane Society leads the community in efforts focused on relieving the suffering of, preventing cruelty to, and providing for the humane treatment of animals.

Our mission is to provide hope and support to cancer patients, survivors, and those closest to them. Since 1996 we have been reaching out to cancer patients and their families in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan… providing love, support, compassion, hope and laughter. In 2018 alone, we provided nearly 11,000 services to those in the community going through the journey of a lifetime.

We are completely privately funded – no government money or health insurance reimbursements – so the generosity of businesses and individuals keeps us going.
