Ever since I have become a mom I celebrate Mother’s Day more than I celebrate my birthday. Celebrating being a mom has just become more important to me. It is like the minute I found out I was becoming a mom special superpowers came over me. For example, I can make dinner + have a screaming toddler attached to my leg at the same time. That’s talent. I am sure there are plenty of moms out there just like me.
About a month ago I took it to Social Media to poll other moms to find out what they want for Mother’s Day. To my surprise, I did not get the responses I thought I would. Traditionally, you usually see flowers and cards, but instead, the answers were way better than expected. For 40+ moms to all mutually want the same two things was really eye-opening.

Let’s be honest, moms are the machine that never stops and is quite possibly fueled by coffee + wine. However, very rarely does it happen that we are able to shut our brains off and as a matter of fact I was just talking to a friend about this yesterday. I told her everyone in my house was asleep and my dilemma was do I nap too or do I binge Netflix since I had the TV to myself? Her response was binge TV because she can’t shut her brain off. Guess what, she was totally right and neither could I – TV binge it was.
After the social media poll, A NIGHT OUT + HOTEL ROOM STAYS were a huge request amongst our moms. Like why have I never thought about these two gifts?
