Today, We All Become “Toledo Moms”

0

At one point or another within our journey of motherhood, all of us have had questions. All of us have needed tips and tricks and wisdom to get through a certain season that was before us. All of us have ached and wished for a community of moms to not only bounce our concerns, worries, joys, and triumphs off but to also genuinely do life together and to be apart of a community. No matter if you are a single mother, a step-mother, a first-time mom, a mother of five, a working mom, a stay-at-home mom, or a mother that is patiently waiting for her miracle baby to start growing within her womb, I think we can all relate to that longing for a place to belong among other mothers. A place to feel accepted and respected even though we all have our ways of parenting. A community that welcomes you with open arms and hearts, and GENUINELY wants to be your support and encouragement in times of need.

Toledo Moms was made with you in mind, mama.

Toledo Moms is not just “a blog”. We are not just a group of mothers who decided to start writing on a whim to fill our time (which you should 100% know that’s not the case because when do mothers ever have time to fill?) Toledo Moms was created out of a cry for community. Founder, Ashley Ralston, saw a need for genuine community among mothers within Northwest Ohio, and she couldn’t bare the thought of letting another day go by without filling that void within our lives, and within her own.

Toledo Moms is a resource written BY moms, FOR moms, all throughout Northwest, Ohio. We are a community of mothers from all different walks of life and stages of life, within our motherhood journey. Every single one of us has a different story, yet every single one of us plays such an important role within this community. Your story, your experiences, and your journey adds life, wisdom, and uniqueness to our community. You are irreplaceable to not only your children but to our community within Toledo, Ohio as well! Toledo Moms was created to bridge the gap of diversity and to create a space of belonging as we all have something imperative and beautiful to bring to the table.

Toledo Moms’ goal is to provide weekly articles that will give you encouragement, support, and wisdom in whatever stage of motherhood you are in. We will provide opportunities throughout the month for mothers all over the area, to meet with one another, face to face, and to have exciting events for you all to attend, while also getting a chance to develop real friendships and connections with one another. We will provide ways for you to get involved within our community, bring local businesses into the spotlight, list activities to do around town (with some new mom friends that you will make within our community), and also with your children! And don’t forget the GIVEAWAYS we will provide!

We cannot wait to be a part of your motherhood journey! Thank you for being a part of our Toledo Moms community, and for joining alongside us as we are launching the start of something beautiful within our area.

Today, we all become “Toledo Moms”.
