2024 Northwest Ohio Firework Displays


Nothing says summer quite like 4th of July Fireworks!

Here are some of the great options around Northwest Ohio to experience a show and celebration.

Saturday June 29th

Springfield Township

At 10 p.m. at Community Homecoming Park

    • Park opens at 5 p.m.
    • Family-friendly activities, kids games and food trucks

Washington Township

At 10 p.m. at Shoreland Fire Station

    • 2024 Thunder Over the River

Wednesday July 3rd

Mud Hens

Rock n Blast at Fifth Third Field


Star Spangled Celebration at Centennial Terrace from 7-11 p.m.

    • Tickets are available online or at doors
    • Fireworks at 10pm
    • General admission is $7 for ages 12 and up, $5 for children under 12
    • Also viewable from Sylvania Pacesetter Park
    • Parking is $5 at both venues


At 10 p.m. from Orleans Park

    • Visible from both sides of the Maumee River
    • Fireworks will be set off from Orleans Park. Parking will not be available at Orleans Park
    • Spectators can set up chairs and view the show from the bridge by entering from the Maumee side

Bowling Green

At dusk at Wood County Fairgrounds

    • BG BOOM Festival and Fireworks from 4-9 p.m.
    • Free


At dusk at Hancock County Fairgrounds 

    • Fourth of July 5K at 10 a.m. at the fairgrounds
    • Lighting Up the Sky celebration beginning at noon
    • Food trucks, bounce houses, train rides, pony rides and car show
    • Concert at 7:30 p.m.
    • Free parking and admission

Oak Harbor

Along Portage River in downtown Oak Harbor

    • Activities begin at 5 p.m.
    • Food vendors, entertainment, inflatables, duck race and more
    • Free admission parking


 Biddle Park

    • Food vendors and music from 4-11:30 p.m

Thursday July 4th


At dark at downtown Toledo riverfront

    • Food trucks at Glass City Metropark and on Summit Street in front of Promenade Park


Light Up the Point 

    • Cedar Point’s Independence Day celebration 
    • 10 p.m

Port Clinton

At dusk at Waterworks Park/city beach

    • Various activities throughout the day


10 p.m. at Peace Garden Lawn 

    • Fireworks best viewed from downtown

Friday July 5th



Light Up the Point

    • Cedar Point’s Independance Day celebration
    • 10pm

Sunday July 6th


At dusk at Fostoria Foundation Park

    • Talent show and food trucks starting at 6 p.m.


5:30-10 p.m. behind Waterville Primary School

    • Food trucks, music, glow vendors & pay-to-play inflatables


At dusk at Trail Marker Park

Saturday July 13th


Boomfest ’24

    • 2 p.m. – Midnight at the Dunn Chevy rear parking lot, 3000 Dustin Road
    • Fireworks at dusk
    • Games, crafts and other activities begin at 2 p.m., music is at 5 p.m.
