Summertime and patios.

Is there anything better? Whether you hit one up during the day in the hot sun, or at night when it starts to get a little cooler. There is something about being on a patio with friends and family that just feels like heaven. It gives you a chance to relax, to enjoy the beautiful weather, and to let loose a little bit. Here is a guide to some amazing spots that you can visit for some yummy cocktails, fantastic food, gorgeous views, and fun entertainment!

Bar145 -Toledo

If you love burgers, this gastropub is the place to go! You can build-your-own burger while snacking on one of their flavorful appetizers. I recommend the brussel sprouts, fried green beans or buffalo chicken dip! Live music or a DJ are playing most nights of the week and weekend, so it’s always a good time!

Ye Olde Durty Bird -Downtown Toledo

This laid back patio is great spot to hang! They have a large menu, great happy hour specials, and a Sunday Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar…with live Jazz! They are also dog-friendly which is an added bonus.

Shorty’s True American Roadhouse -Toledo

Get some fresh air while being out of the sun on this covered patio. While you are there, try some of the best BBQ and macaroni and cheese in town! And one of their ice-cold beers!

El Camino -Toledo

Summer isn’t complete without visiting El Camino and their fun patio. Snack on the endless chips and salsa with some freshly made guacamole. And sing and dance along to the music played by the DJ! You are guaranteed to have a good time when you are here!

Rosie’s Italian Grille -Toledo

Indulge in the most delicious, authentic Italian food and their infamous hot mama bread while sitting on their picturesque patio. It is especially breathtaking at night with the dim lighting. Throw in some live music, and it will be one of your favorite spots this summer to hang out with family or your go-to for date nights!

Souk Mediterranean Kitchen and Bar -Downtown Toledo

This adorable patio is perfect for grabbing a couple of friends and sharing a bottle of wine. The Mediterranean menu is to die for. Plus the owner/head chef Moussa and the whole staff are some of the nicest you will ever meet and make the experience that much more enjoyable.

El Vaquero -Toledo and Downtown Toledo

Head down to the docks to indulge in some authentic Mexican food with a margarita or two! Great atmosphere with a lovely view of the Maumee River.

The Heights -Downtown Toledo

Best view and pizza in the city! This rooftop bar is one-of-a-kind in Toledo. With the skyline views and huge drink selection, it will keep you from ever wanting to leave their magnificent patio!

Maumee Bay Brewing Company -Downtown Toledo

Toledo’s original craft brewery has a quaint, smaller patio along with a bigger patio out on their lawn for events. Get a giant pretzel with a house-brewed beer or cider. They have live music and patio events quite frequently!

Swig -Perrysburg

If you want fun and uniqueness, this is your go-to place! The food is full of flavor and will keep your taste buds excited! The patio is charming and has such an amazing atmosphere. It even has ceiling fans to keep you nice and cool. Try the chicken chunks or the hot feta dip. You will be happy you did!

Reset/Spikes Beach Bar/Cameo Pizza -Rossford

Have ALL the fun at this wonderful beach bar! Their patio makes you feel like you are on vacation. Try one of the 30 beers on tap, while swinging at their Tiki Bar. Play some volleyball, cornhole, or an oversized lawn game. Great spot to hang at on a summer night!

Tony’s Quarterdeck -Erie, MI

Take a short drive to Erie, and you will find a gem of a restaurant and patio! Take in a stunning view of the Ottawa River while you munch on their delightful tacos or sandwiches and hand-cut fries. Order one of their tasty specialty drinks while you are there. You won’t regret it!
